I stayed the night at jers house and then we got up and went out for breakfast. And then I thought I’d snap a picture before all the snow melted from last night.

Christmas Time

It seems that every Christmas that comes around the corner feels less and less like Christmas. I remember my whole family being together for 2 weeks every year. And I was excited about it more than any other time of the year. Even the summer. All of us cousins would help grandpa around the farm and feed the cows. The women were where they needed to be…the kitchen. We would go out and shoot 22’s and shoot basketball down at the school. Christmas use to be so awesome. I loved it more than anything. And now the last 5 years it seems like Christmas isn’t Christmas anymore and I hate it. This year I really tried to make it more meaningful and it was to some extent but i fear Christmas will never feel like it use to feel. But even so it has been great to be with my family and play in the snow and get new tires and all that good stuff that has been happening the last couple weeks.

We got to the studio around 11 and started recording again at 12. We are finishing up Wander right now and will soon be working on our next song on the E.P. Here’s some photos from last night and this morning.

So for the last couple hours we’ve been adjusting levels and setting up instruments playing around with sounds but mostly getting the drums to sound just right. We’ll start recording soon.

Christmas Cold

Me and david drove to work today with all the windows down and the A.C. on going full blast to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. Hands out the window and sailing that open freeway.
